About The Position

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) for a weekend-call schedule and PTO coverage in an inpatient hospital setting. This role is ideal for experienced OTs and new graduates looking to expand their knowledge and experience within a growing organization that fosters a progressive, supportive, and innovative team environment.

Requirements

A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy.
The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure.
CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s).
The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift.
A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision.
Be able to maintain confidentiality.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services and evaluations to patients.
Utilize occupational therapy techniques including P/ROM, joint mobilization, massage, myofascial release, desensitization techniques, and dressing changes.
Achieve patient care time targets, with a general target of 75%+ minimum individual patient care time (unadjusted) in the outpatient setting.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation efficiently.
Provide feedback to patients for continuous health improvements.
Deliver care as broadly specified within the applicable state practice act.
