About The Position

The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients at the hospital in Warm Springs, Georgia. The role includes assessing patients, creating individualized treatment plans, monitoring progress, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. The therapist also educates patients and families about therapeutic options and home exercises.

Two shift options are offered: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (or 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch) and 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch).

Requirements

• Current Georgia Occupational Therapist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year of experience in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic options and home exercises.
