Occupational Therapist provides the highest possible level of service to patients, striving to meet hospital standards for occupational therapy care. This role administers appropriate occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a referring physician and positively markets the total range of patient services offered. The Occupational Therapist will conduct productivity studies, interpret medical information for staff, and teach patients to carry out occupational therapy programs and daily living activities at home. This position also involves updating services, evaluating workload, assigning patients to assistants, assisting with budget development, staying current with corporate policies, and providing leadership by example.
