About The Position
LTC Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting. We are looking for a therapist who is passionate about helping residents regain independence, improve functional abilities, and return to meaningful daily routines through individualized care.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop customized treatment plans
- Provide therapy focused on activities of daily living, upper extremity strength, cognition, coordination, and safety
- Recommend adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies to support independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab and nursing teams to coordinate patient care
- Monitor resident progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
