About The Position

The Occupational Therapist will conduct physical and psychological assessments of clients, develop and implement treatment plans, and advise on adaptive equipment to aid clients in daily activities. This role involves developing physical rehabilitation programs, preparing clients for return to work, and educating caregivers and family members on patient care. The therapist will also evaluate the results and progress of therapy, maintain up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices, and comply with all relevant certification and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels.
  • Ability to complete competency CPR and First Aid.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical equations.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take care of clients with different personalities.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Ability to assess patient conditions and work with treatment plans.
  • A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE or AOTA.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification.
  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.

Responsibilities
