About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to use their skills to enhance the independence, health, and wellbeing of older Australians. BaptistCare, a leader in service quality and innovation in home care, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (PT or FT) to join their growing team in the Central West/Orange and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. The goal is to help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home. You will join a supportive team guided by the Well-Living approach, empowering clients to live their best lives at home.

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community.
• Post graduate experience working within a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models.
• Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission.
• Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
