Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Arizona state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or license-eligible).
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to home therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using clinical observations and standardized tools.
- Create personalized treatment plans to enhance functional abilities.
- Educate clients and their families on modifying daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and home modifications.
- Maintain accurate, timely records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and necessary accommodations.
