About The Position
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time LTC Therapy: Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation Whitinsville, MA $42–$46/hour LTC Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehabilitation team at Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation. This position offers the opportunity to work with residents in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, helping them improve independence and confidence in their daily activities.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, balance, cognition, and safety awareness
- Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support resident independence and participation in daily routines
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care and support resident goals
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
