About The Position

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is committed to providing coordinated quality services that are seamless, safe and patient-centred. This community-based position provides services in clinic/home settings in PHC Regina. The incumbent will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients/patients/residents incorporating best practice and evidence-based research. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of students assigned to them. Some assignments may require access to a vehicle for work. Travel is required to various community/rural sites within Regina PHC Networks. A travel allowance is provided. The position will be assigned to a Primary Health Care Network within PHC Services. Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
  • Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel within service delivery area
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
  • Applicants must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
  • Those being interviewed are required to bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
