About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. This role focuses on helping residents improve functional performance, safety, and independence through individualized occupational therapy services.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and identify barriers affecting daily living activities
- Develop treatment programs focused on mobility, self-care, cognition, coordination, and upper extremity function
- Provide hands-on therapy and educate residents on adaptive techniques and equipment use
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab staff, and families to support resident goals and discharge planning
- Complete accurate documentation and monitor treatment outcomes
