Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Oregon Occupational Therapist License
  • AHA BLS within 30 Days

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical experience dealing with a broad based rehabilitation facility

Responsibilities

  • Help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.
  • Assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.).
  • Develop treatment plans.
  • Conduct evaluations/re-evaluations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Document thoroughly.
  • Provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.
  • Interviews patient, family, caregivers, significant others to obtain information about prior level of function, home environment, family relationships, health and psychosocial history.
  • Performs client tests, measurements and evaluations as indicated for the patient’s condition.
  • Establishes measurable/functional treatment goals.
  • Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluation, age-related and diagnosis- related policies.
  • Administers, evaluates and adjusts the treatment.
  • Monitors all patients under his/her care.
