Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Oregon Occupational Therapist License
AHA BLS within 30 Days

Responsibilities

Help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.
Assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.).
Develop treatment plans.
Conduct evaluations/re-evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Document thoroughly.
Provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.
Interviews patient, family, caregivers, significant others to obtain information about prior level of function, home environment, family relationships, health and psychosocial history.
Performs client tests, measurements and evaluations as indicated for the patient’s condition.
Establishes measurable/functional treatment goals.
Plans and prepares written treatment programs based on evaluation, age-related and diagnosis- related policies.
Administers, evaluates and adjusts the treatment.
Monitors all patients under his/her care.
