About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is expanding its team in Pikesville, MD, seeking passionate, licensed Occupational Therapists to provide exceptional one-on-one care to older adults. This role involves delivering therapy services directly in patients' private residences or within Senior Living Communities, utilizing FOX's signature Geriatric House Calls™ model. The therapist will focus on improving patients' mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. The position offers significant autonomy and flexibility, allowing clinicians to create and manage their own treatment schedules and foster strong, lasting patient relationships. Additionally, therapists have the option to incorporate telehealth and virtual care into their practice for enhanced flexibility and continuity of care. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one Occupational therapy to older adults wherever they call home (Private residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care)
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence
- Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place
- Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility
