Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Pediatric Therapy
About The Position
The pediatric rehabilitation services occupational therapist delivers and supervises others in the delivery of services to children, birth to 18 years old. Services provided upon referral include evaluations, developing individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes, implementation of the treatment program, reassessment of treatment results and discharge planning. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, appropriate disciplines, and family centered, involving family, caregivers and patient. These services are delivered in compliance with ethical standards, policies and procedures, national and professional standards, state practice acts for occupational therapists, and current accepted state of the art practice. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Washington Occupational Therapist License (Upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire)
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric rehabilitation professional experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- New graduates with relevant internship experience will also be considered
