About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist for a senior living setting in Park Forest, Illinois. The role offers a wage range of $48–$51 per hour and 15–25 hours per week, with flexible hours on a Monday–Friday schedule. The therapist will help seniors maintain strength and independence through assessment, individualized treatment, education, documentation, and advocacy. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Develop personalized treatment plans that address client goals and improve functional abilities.
Educate clients and families about improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support their access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
