About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about helping residents improve independence, safety, and functional performance in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans
- Provide treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, cognition, coordination, balance, and safety awareness
- Recommend adaptive equipment and therapeutic strategies to support resident independence
- Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, physicians, and family members to coordinate care
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
