Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN
About The Position
Powerback is hiring a PRN (Per Required Need) Occupational Therapist to provide in-facility occupational therapy. The therapist assesses patient needs, develops recovery plans, and delivers individualized care designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence. The role includes adapting care to individual patients and varied settings, collaborating with colleagues, making referrals when appropriate, and teaching patients and caregivers skills that promote independence and productivity. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its approach as patient-centered and individualized, connecting recovery, rehabilitation, respiratory, and wellness services to help patients improve how they feel, move, breathe, and live. The listed pay range is USD $60.00–$65.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
