About The Position

Stern At Home Therapy is hiring Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes throughout Yonkers, NY. The role offers flexible scheduling, no productivity quotas, and full clinical autonomy. Stern At Home Therapy brings skilled occupational therapy directly into patients' homes across the greater New York area, with a model built around clinician needs including flexible scheduling, administrative support, and multiple role structures. Therapists can choose PRN visits, a part-time W-2 role, or a full-time W-2 or 1099 position. Most therapists begin seeing patients within two weeks of joining.

Requirements

Active NY Occupational Therapist license
Reliable transportation
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting
Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills

Nice To Haves

Home health experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric patient population in their homes throughout Yonkers
Develop and manage individualized plans of care with full clinical autonomy
Help patients improve independence, safety, mobility, upper extremity function, and ADL performance
Provide 1:1 care every visit — no double-booking, ever
Complete timely clinical documentation with admin team support for scheduling and logistics
Manage caseload based on availability and chosen employment structure
