About The Position
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals – Coalinga in Coalinga, California. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide therapeutic interventions to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and functional independence.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of California
- Current BLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living, motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as needed
