The successful candidate will exhibit strong: customer service skills, clinical skills, and patient outcomes. They must practice with high moral and professional standards and be driven toward continuous professional development. Effective time management and teamwork skills are an essential quality that will allow success in contributing to the operation of the Health System. Have responsibilities towards supervision of assistants involved in the care of their patients.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Program in Occupational Therapy
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • Must have passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification Exam and obtained Certification
  • Possess or be eligible for Ohio License as an Occupational Therapist
  • De-escalation training within 6 months

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of prior experience delivering direct patient care to individuals with a variety of deficits, which may include: orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, and cognitive shortfalls.
  • Consideration will be given to new graduates with strong clinical and professional skills.
