About The Position

Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN at Hemingford Community Care Center. This is a PRN role with a flexible schedule, offering clinical autonomy and a supportive environment. Collaboration with nursing and other therapy staff is also key.

Requirements

• Current Nebraska OT license in good standing
• Degree from an accredited OT program
• Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
• Ability to supervise a COTA

Nice To Haves

• SNF experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Treat a geriatric population across SNF/Transitional Care Unit
• Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
• Transfer training (all levels)
• Fall prevention and safety training
• Treatment of clinically complex patients
• Discharge planning and care coordination
• Supervision of a COTA (as needed)
• Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff
