Occupational Therapist for Adult IDD clients in Idaho - Teletherapy
About The Position
Soundly Speaking is seeking passionate and committed Occupational Therapists dedicated to serving adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) within the major cities of Idaho. As a leading provider of adult IDD therapy in Idaho, we work closely with dayhab staff and families to serve our inspiring clients ages 21 and up. We offer both in-person and teletherapy services. Our mission is to provide needed and deserved therapy to every single qualified IDD adult in the United States while providing compassion for today and hope for tomorrow. Requirements
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Idaho-issued Occupational Therapist License
- Ability to learn on the job and utilize and augment provided materials
- Comfortable working with adults in their homes and/or outside of a clinic

Responsibilities
- Provide individually tailored therapy on Zoom
- Documenting evaluation visits
- Contacting families and case managers to share updates
- Monitoring Assistants as needed to ensure high-quality service and answering their questions
- Provide high quality evaluations in the client’s home
- Communicate with families about the therapy sessions
- Provide the appropriate amount of supervision for their assistants
- Turn in paperwork within a 24-hour timeline
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in accordance with HIPAA, State, and Federal Regulations
