About The Position
SportsMed is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary practice in New Jersey, offering Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, and Acupuncture services. We cater to a wide range of patients, including those with sports-related injuries, post-surgical conditions, elderly individuals, and desk workers. The Occupational Therapist will organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in tasks to enhance performance, and facilitating the learning of essential skills for adaptation and productivity to correct pathology.
Requirements
- New Jersey Occupational Therapy License
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities
- Treat a variety of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and post-op
- Perform initial evaluations, establish recovery goals, and develop plans of care based on findings
- Document all evaluations and treatments
- Educate patients and appropriate parties on evaluations and treatment plans
- Maintain effective communication with patients, SportsMed providers, and other team members.
