About The Position

Regency Hospital - Florence is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Occupational Therapist provides compassionate treatment to patients during recovery. This full-time position is scheduled for 8-hour day shifts and pays $30–$52 per hour, depending on years of experience. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements

Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Certified BLS, or completion of BLS within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Participate in discharge planning for each patient, including placement, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment.
Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants (OTAs), as well as OT and COTA students.
Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
Monitor patients’ responses to treatment.
Participate in continuing education seminars and in-services.
