About The Position
Ultimate Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing rehabilitation team. We are looking for a motivated therapist who is passionate about helping residents improve functional ability, increase independence, and safely return to everyday activities.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and design individualized occupational therapy treatment programs
- Provide therapy focused on daily living skills, fine motor coordination, upper extremity function, cognition, and safety
- Introduce adaptive strategies and equipment to improve resident independence and participation
- Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, physicians, and families to support patient-centered care
- Monitor outcomes, adjust treatment approaches, and maintain accurate documentation
