About The Position
McClure Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their exceptional in-house rehabilitation team. This role focuses on helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life by assisting them in regaining the skills needed to safely perform everyday activities. The position offers a welcoming, family-oriented environment with opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth. They are open to both experienced clinicians and recent graduates, providing structured mentorship and clinical support for new graduates.
Requirements
- Current California Occupational Therapist (OT) license in good standing
- New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions focused on improving functional independence and quality of life
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate resident care
- Educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, home safety, and therapeutic techniques
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans to achieve the best possible outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
