Occupational Therapist (OTR) – Full-Time $40–$50/hour Easley, SC About Us Powdersville Post Acute is a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Easley, SC, just minutes from downtown Greenville. Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services that help residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current South Carolina Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • Must maintain all required continuing education requirements
  • Must remain in good standing with the State Board
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy preferred
  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
  • Compassion for an underserved population
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and clinical needs
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with established goals
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
  • Participate in care planning meetings, rehabilitation conferences, and discharge planning
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs
  • Conduct in-service training and educational programs for facility staff
  • Ensure compliance with all state practice acts, regulatory requirements, and facility policies
  • Promote resident independence, safety, and overall well-being
