Occupational Therapist - Home Health
About The Position
As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities. Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients. To be successful in this role, you must be flexible, adaptable, exceptionally organized, and a personable, motivating team player. Meets the discipline-specific productivity standard. Demonstrates competence in care of patients during field observation by the clinical supervisor. Completes and submits documentation following established guidelines as measured by a designated evaluation tool. Ensures physician orders are present and written correctly. Documents follow-up of identified problems. Reviews and documents clinical progress toward goals.
Requirements
- High School Graduate
- 2 years experience in a healthcare setting
- Occupational Therapist: CA
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Driver's License: CA
- Auto Insurance
