About The Position

Join our Occupational Therapists Team! At Health Sciences North (HSN), we are committed to providing exceptional care and empowering individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and well-being. We currently have a dynamic team of over 40 skilled Occupational Therapists working across a range of diverse, collaborative, and patient-centered programs. As a part of our team, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary environment that supports both personal growth and professional development. Our Occupational Therapists (OT) at HSN are highly trained professionals who help patients of all ages overcome challenges related to physical, cognitive, and emotional health. Our OT team works in a variety of specialized programs, delivering individualized, holistic care that enables our patients to regain and maintain their independence. Some of the key areas our OTs provide services in include Inpatient Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Pediatric, Mental Health and Geriatric Care. Requirements

  • Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Candidates expected to obtain registration in the next few months and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
  • Additional qualifications may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized, holistic care that enables patients to regain and maintain their independence.
  • Provide services in areas such as Inpatient Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation, Pediatric, Mental Health and Geriatric Care.
