H2 Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support our outpatient clinics in Bluefield, Virginia, and Tazewell, Virginia. In this regional opportunity, you'll work with a diverse outpatient population while delivering individualized, evidence-based care focused on restoring function and improving quality of life. You'll collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals while treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, upper extremity, and functional impairments. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment while providing the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships across two community-focused outpatient clinics.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions designed to improve functional independence, strength, coordination, mobility, and activities of daily living.
  • Treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, upper extremity, and functional impairments.
  • Collaborate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, home programs, and techniques to improve daily function and independence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Utilize Scribe AI-powered documentation technology to streamline documentation and maximize patient care time.
  • Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management.
  • Contribute to a positive clinic culture focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
