About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year in Springfield, Missouri. Whether you’re an experienced school-based OT or just beginning your school therapy journey, we’d love to hear from you! This is an in-person role within a K-12 public school environment.
Requirements
- Must hold (or be eligible for) Missouri OT license
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) MoPro License
Nice To Haves
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide school-based OT services including assessments, treatment, and consultation
- Conduct evaluations and write reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and write IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain timely documentation and progress notes
