Responsible for appropriate documentation. Supervises supportive OT personnel. Serve as a liaison upon discharge. Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Eligible for or holds current Occupational Therapist licensure to practice in the State of Oklahoma required.
  • BLS required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Typing and basic computer skills required.

  • Previous experience preferred.

  • Implements patient care in a knowledgeable and skillful manner, maintaining a high quality of work performance in all areas.
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide the proper assistance, verbal cueing, and etc. necessary for optimal performance.
  • Demonstrates the ability to evaluate patients and establish an appropriate plan of care, adapting the plan of care to patient/caregiver needs and goals.
  • Demonstrates the ability to instruct patients and/or caregivers in treatment procedures, home programs, orthotics/prosthetics and special equipment using clear verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Demonstrates the ability to use time effectively by delegating an appropriate portion of treatment to trained support personnel.
  • Demonstrates ability to write functional goals and re-assess patient progress towards goals when appropriate, adjusting the plan of care as needed.
