The Occupational Therapist will develop, implement, and evaluate programs and procedures for occupational therapy and assessment. This role involves providing occupational therapy to eligible students, developing and reviewing Individual Education Plan therapy goals, and making recommendations as appropriate. The therapist will also interpret the program to parents and school personnel, research and evaluate data regarding program effectiveness, and prepare periodic reports. Additionally, the position requires preparing written evaluations, maintaining records, and communicating with various agencies and organizations to coordinate services. The therapist will also manage supplies and equipment for therapy needs and train others in the use of therapeutic equipment and Assistive Technology devices.
