About The Position
SportsMed is a rapidly growing multidisciplinary practice in New Jersey, offering Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Hand Therapy, and Acupuncture services. We cater to a diverse patient population, including those with sports-related injuries, post-surgical needs, and individuals experiencing issues related to aging or desk work. The Occupational Therapist plays a crucial role in organizing and conducting therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation, directing patient participation in tasks to enhance performance, and teaching skills essential for adaptation and productivity to address pathologies.
Requirements
- New Jersey Occupational Therapy License
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Responsibilities
- Treat a variety of hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries and post-op
- Perform initial evaluations, establish recovery goals, and develop plans of care based on findings
- Document all evaluations and treatments
- Educate patients and appropriate parties on evaluations and treatment plans
- Maintain effective communication with patients, SportsMed providers, and other team members
