About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist for a small, personalized outpatient therapy program in an assisted living setting in Paris, Illinois. The program delivers rehabilitation services to residents in their apartments. The position offers approximately 3–5 hours per week and flexible scheduling. The stated wage range is $50–$56 per hour, based mainly on experience. Illinois PT licensure reimbursement is also offered to support onboarding and professional growth.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligibility.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance their functional abilities.
Educate clients and families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
