The Pines at Placerville is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join their skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team that values patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and professional growth. The position is per diem, offering a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in California
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required
- CPR Certification if required by licensure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, ADLs, and independence.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Supervise COTAs, aides, and students.
- Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings.
- Educate residents and caregivers on safety, fall prevention, adaptive equipment, and home programs.
- Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation.
- Provide staff education and in-services.
- Support quality improvement and restorative nursing programs.
