About The Position

Stern at Home Therapy is hiring a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one home health care to a primarily geriatric patient population in Long Branch and surrounding Monmouth County communities in New Jersey. The therapist evaluates patients and develops and delivers individualized treatment plans with full clinical autonomy. Therapists choose their availability and create their own schedules, while a dedicated administrative team supports scheduling, patient coordination, and documentation so clinicians can focus on patient care. Shadowing is available for clinicians who are new to home health or want to learn about the care model. A scheduling assurance plan provides payment for up to two cancellations per month when a cancelled visit cannot be replaced.

Compensation is per visit: W2 part-time roles pay $60–$65 per visit, and 1099 part-time roles pay $72–$85 per visit. W2 part-time benefits include a medical stipend, 401(k), student loan repayment assistance after one year, annual CEU reimbursement, a commuter stipend, and a quarterly wellness stipend after the second quarter. The hiring process includes a brief introductory conversation; many clinicians begin seeing patients within two weeks.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license (required).
• Reliable transportation (required).
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of U.S. clinical experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Home health experience is a plus but not required.
