About The Position

CVHCare is seeking Occupational Therapists to provide home health clinical services in the listed East Bay service areas. Occupational therapy focuses on helping patients perform daily activities and movements using common household items or adaptive equipment. The role includes training patients or caregivers in self-grooming, dressing, toileting, bathing, cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping. The occupational therapy team also supports community reintegration and introduces leisure activities as part of a holistic approach to health and wellness. The position is not remote. Schedules are available at 32 hours per week (24 RVEs), part-time at 24 hours per week (18 RVEs), or per diem at six visits per week. Paid training requires availability for one week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in San Ramon. The stated starting compensation is based on employees working a full-time schedule; the posting lists salary from $109,000 per year.

Requirements

Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
Reliable transportation.
CPR/BLS certification.
Minimum one year of Occupational Therapy experience is desired; entry-level candidates and candidates without prior home health experience are welcome.
