About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide patient-centered care across acute care and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will evaluate patient needs, develop treatment plans, and support individuals in improving functional independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Experience in acute care (non-inpatient rehab) and outpatient settings required
- Ability to pass pre-employment health screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience in neurological or concussion outpatient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports
- Participate in clinical rounds, meetings, and interdisciplinary conferences
- Educate patients and families on therapy plans and progress
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure proper use of supplies
- Support and participate in staff education and training programs
