About The Position

Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) needed at Lake Wylie Therapy & Pediatric Development Center in Lake Wylie, SC. This full-time position offers a salary of $80,000-$90,000 per year plus performance bonuses, with no weekends required. The center is committed to providing exceptional, child-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. They are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist passionate about helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive. The center offers mentorship, resources, and support for both experienced therapists and newer clinicians interested in pediatrics.

Requirements

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in South Carolina (or eligible for licensure)
  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • New graduates with pediatric clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
  • Experience with sensory integration, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, or feeding therapy is a plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for working with children and families
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to clinical excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with sensory integration, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, or feeding therapy is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate children and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services for pediatric patients
  • Address fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation, and developmental skills
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare providers
  • Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support progress at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and team collaboration
  • Foster a fun, engaging, and supportive therapeutic environment
