About The Position

HomeFirst Home Healthcare is seeking to add a per diem (PRN) Occupational Therapist to their home health team. This role involves providing one-on-one patient care and education in the patient's home. The Occupational Therapist will implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities, promote safety, and enhance independence within the home setting, following a Plan of Care. Home visits are available in Warren, Dekalb, Van Buren, and Cannon counties in Tennessee.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy educational program.
• Current Occupational Therapy / OT state license within the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, current driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one patient care in the home setting.
• Provide patient and family teaching in the home setting.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to optimize functional abilities per Plan of Care.
• Promote safety and independence in the home setting.
