About The Position

Wake Orthopedics, a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC, is seeking two Occupational Therapists to fill our full-time Hand Therapist position. This role involves splitting time between our North Raleigh and Oberlin office locations. We offer a unique work environment that promotes personal and professional growth, providing the highest quality care for pediatric and adult patients. Our practices offer a full range of orthopaedic services, including advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services. Our goal is to help patients recover from injuries like broken bones, joint replacement surgery, sports injuries, or fractures, enabling them to return to the activities they enjoy. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • NC State license

Nice To Haves

  • CHT Credentials preferred, must be eligible to sit for CHT credentialing exam within 6-12 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate advanced clinical expertise in patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation of hand therapy services.
  • Demonstrate essential skill competencies in the use of treat modalities, equipment, and protocols.
  • Adhere to company policy regarding timeliness and content of written evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
  • Effectively communicate with patients, family, medical staff, and managers.
  • Be motivated and capable of working independently and/or with other therapists.
  • Continually learn and perform best practices in caring for and treating patients.
