Occupational Therapist (O.T.) Weekends Part-time. Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care. Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment. Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment. Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines. Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel. Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients. Delivery of high quality of patient care through evidence-based care.
