About The Position

Stern at Home Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide one-on-one home health care to a primarily geriatric patient population throughout the South Atlanta area. The role is available as part-time W-2 employment or as a flexible PRN opportunity. The therapist can build a consistent weekly caseload or take visits according to their availability, with per-visit compensation and no double-booking or productivity quotas. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats patients in their homes, develops individualized plans of care, and manages treatment with clinical autonomy. The role also involves documentation, communication with patients, families, physicians, and other medical team members, and coordination with the administrative team on scheduling, care, and logistics. Equipment is provided, and shadowing is available for therapists who are new to home health.

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist license in Georgia.
Reliable transportation.
Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.

Nice To Haves

Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals.
Manage individualized treatment plans with clinical autonomy.
Help patients improve independence, safety, mobility, and ability to perform activities of daily living.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and medical team members.
Coordinate with the administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics.
Build and manage a caseload based on availability and preferred coverage area.
