About The Position

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist license, or ability to obtain one before starting.
• Passion for empowering individuals to achieve their maximum level of independence.
• Compassionate and effective communication skills with patients and colleagues.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to adapt treatment plans to diverse patient needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients’ individual needs and create personalized treatment plans to support functional independence.
• Use evidence-based methods and therapeutic tools to improve motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, doctors, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate and empower patients and their families with knowledge and techniques to support continued improvement at home.
• Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans to support optimal recovery.
