Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island is a state-of-the-art, inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in inpatient rehab preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to restore function and promote independence in daily activities.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions focused on improving patients’ ability to perform self-care, mobility, and other essential life skills following illness or injury.
  • Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, patients, and families to support recovery goals.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
