About The Position

Central Coast VNA & Hospice (VNA) provides home health, palliative, and hospice care across the Central Coast. The nonprofit organization has delivered skilled in-home services for more than 74 years, including rehabilitation, chronic disease management, and end-of-life comfort care. Under a physician-approved plan of treatment, the Occupational Therapist applies occupational therapy principles to help patients attain their maximum potential. The position also provides consultation to other members of the health team and to patients’ families and caregivers, and evaluates home environments and makes recommendations. Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license in California.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of recent acute, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or home health experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Auto insurance.
• Reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help patients attain their maximum potential by applying occupational therapy principles under a physician-approved plan of treatment.
• Provide consultation to other health team members.
