About The Position
Independence Rehab is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Orchard Park in Orem. This role is ideal for new graduates or experienced OTs seeking a PRN position with clinical autonomy. The position involves conducting evaluations 2-3 days per week, with shifts lasting 2-4 hours. Requirements
- Current Utah OT license in good standing.
- Degree from an accredited OT program.
- Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population.
- Ability to supervise a COTA.
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies.
- Provide transfer training for all levels.
- Implement fall prevention and safety training.
- Treat clinically complex patients.
- Perform discharge planning and care coordination.
- Supervise a COTA as needed.
