About The Position

This position is for an Occupational Therapist in an Acute Care Hospital setting. The role primarily involves working Monday to Friday, with an expectation of working 3 weekend days within a 6-week schedule. Acute care experience is required, and ICU experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience. First-time travelers may be considered if they have 3+ years of experience. The role requires a well-rounded caregiver experienced with various conditions including CVA, Multiple Trauma, Cardiac, Ortho, Open Heart, Gen Med, Onc, Neuro, Spine, and Total Joint. There is an opportunity for cross-training at an OP center if interested, but it is not required. The facility is able to call off staff once per two-week pay period. The therapist may be required to float to Providence Mission Laguna.

Requirements

• Acute care experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• CA License required.
• Must have 3+ years of experience if a first-time traveler.

Nice To Haves

• ICU experience highly preferred.
• Experience with CVA, Multiple Trauma, Cardiac, Ortho, Open Heart, Gen Med, Onc, Neuro, Spine, Total Joint.
