About The Position
Caldera Care is seeking an experienced PRN Occupational Therapist to join their team. Caldera Care emphasizes a supportive work environment, aiming to provide excellent care to residents and foster a sense of community. The Occupational Therapist will work with the Director of Rehab to enhance the skilled nursing center's quality of care.
Requirements
- Must have a valid WA OT license in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Willingness and ability to travel amongst our Spokane and Spokane Valley centers.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional clinical services.
- Carries out education and training activities.
- Provides clinical consultation, supervision, and administration.
- Demonstrates professional knowledge of and skill in applying a wide range of theories, principles, and methodologies of the practice of occupational therapy.
- Specialized content areas include hand specialty, ergonomics, blind/visual rehabilitation assistive technology, functional capacity examination, polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health, driver rehabilitation, home-based primary care, etc.
- Services are accomplished in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment teams as appropriate.
