Requirements

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in California
Access to a mobile phone (for email) & basic internet (if working offsite)
Background check (FBI/DOJ), current TB test

Responsibilities

Provide direct, in-person occupational therapy services to students with IEPs in grades 2–12+, individually and in small groups, according to IEP service minutes.
Conduct OT assessments and write evaluation reports for initial, annual, and triennial IEPs.
Develop measurable OT goals, write progress reports, and attend IEP meetings as a member of the IEP team.
Maintain accurate service logs and documentation in SEIS/Welligent in line with district contract and billing requirements.
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and behavior staff on sensory, fine-motor, and self-care strategies and accommodations in the classroom.
Consult with families and give caregivers practical strategies to support their child's progress at home.
Support a positive, trauma-informed school culture aligned with PBIS and Almansor Academy's behavioral support model.
